Journalist Loic Tanzi has now claimed that despite suggestions to the contrary over the last few days, Harry Kane would prefer to remain in the Premier League rather than go abroad.
We relayed a report from The Evening Standard last week, which claimed that despite being within touching distance of Alan Shearer’s Premier League goals record, Kane is open to a switch to Bayern Munich this summer in search of silverware.
Sky German’s Florian Plettenberg went a step further on Monday, stating that the Tottenham man is now fully ‘convinced’ about the project at Bavaria and only wants to move to the Allianz Arena this summer.

Kane to Bayern is almost impossible this summer
However, this has now been contradicted by Tanzi, who suggested that it would be next to impossible to get Kane out of Tottenham this summer.
The journalist claimed that not only would it be difficult to convince Daniel Levy to sell his star striker, but the England captain himself prefers to remain in the Premier League.
When asked about Paris Saint-Germian’s interest in Kane, Tanzi told L’Equipe’s TV channel for the show L’Equipe de Greg (as translated by Sport Witness): “Kane, it’s difficult.
“Even if he’s in contact with Bayern Munich, he would rather stay in the Premier League than go abroad. It’s complicated. The Kane situation is frankly unworkable.
“I think now, the only foreign club capable of getting him, for me, is Bayern, and you have to convince Daniel Levy to let him go, even when it comes to a team abroad. He’s very tough in negotiations.”
Spurs Web Opinion
There is no way that Bayern would be launching offers for Kane if they had not got the green light from the striker’s entourage.
So, if Thomas Tuchel’s men can agree on a deal with Spurs (which is a big ‘if’), the 29-year-old will be off this summer.
