BeIN Sports journalist, Tancredi Palmeri has reported that Tottenham have contacted Antonio Conte in an attempt to lure him to North London.
Palmeri claimed that Fabio Paratici is ‘trying to burn Manchester United’ by swooping for Conte before the Red Devils make a long-term decision over Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
When the two teams came face to face this weekend in the Premier League, it was United who came out on top, with Solskjaer securing a potential job-saving three points.
Tutto Mercato Web reported earlier today that Spurs had have revisited their interest in Antonio Conte after yet another defeat under Nuno Espirito Santo.
Before Nuno was appointed in the summer, Conte was heavily linked with the Spurs head coach role but talks eventually collapsed abruptly.
Multiple reports from The Telegraph and Football Insider have today claimed that Tottenham could part ways with Nuno in the coming hours. If Palmeri is to be believed, the Lilywhites could be seeking out another attempt at landing Conte.

And so the process begins again. Tottenham need to get the decision right this time. Conte will not join, so let’s not waste time there. Put Mason in charge until Christmas and use that time to find the perfect new head coach.
