Journalist claims ‘reliable source’ told him Kane to Man City for over £100m is ‘real possibility’

Manchester City correspondent, Ian Cheeseman, who has worked for Sony Sports India, the BBC and Sirius XMFC, has claimed that a source has given him information on Harry Kane.

Cheeseman tweeted this week that a ‘reliable source’ had informed him that Harry Kane to Man City was a ‘real possibility’ this summer for over £100m.

This comes after the Daily Star reported this week that Man City made an inquiry to Tottenham back in the January transfer window with regards to Kane’s availability.

Although Spurs apparently knocked back such contact, the report hinted that the interest may have prompted Kane’s recent public comments.

In an interview with Gary Neville, Kane claimed that he would love to play with Man City’s Kevin De Bruyne, while also adding that he wanted to talk to Daniel Levy because his career has reached a crossroads.

Sky Sports also claimed that Harry Kane has told Tottenham that he wants to leave this summer after the club endured a woeful season.

Cheeseman tweeted: ‘I hear from a reliable source that Harry Kane to Man City is a real possibility for a fee of over £100 million – time will tell.’
