It appears to be only a matter of time before Gareth Bale seals his return to Tottenham Hotspur this summer.

According to Football.London, the Lilywhites have agreed to sign the Welshman on a season-long loan deal, with the North Londoners covering 40 per cent of Bale’s £650,000-a-week wages.

The deal, along with the capture of Sergio Reguilon, is expected to be announced on Friday by the club.

Sky Sports reporter Ben Ransom has revealed that Bale was spotted arriving at Los Blancos’ Valdebebas training centre at 10.15 am local time on Thursday morning.

Ransom revealed that the reporters outside the training centre were in a state of shock to see Bale report to training.

However, he confirmed that this development does not have anything to do with his proposed move to Tottenham being derailed.

In fact, The Sun suggests that the former Spurs star could have gone to the training centre to say his final goodbyes to his Real Madrid teammates before finalising his transfer.
