Journalist claims sources say Poch will be backed with enough money to ‘challenge’ next season

Tottenham Hotspur have had an incredible season, all things considered, as they secured a top-four finish on the last day of the Prem season and now prepare for their first ever Champions League final.

This all comes with Spurs not spending a single penny on transfers over the last 15 months, with Lucas Moura still representing the club’s last acquisition.

Pochettino also had to contend with a hefty injury list, playing at Wembley, new stadium delays, losing Heung Min Son to South Korea duty twice, and more.

Many Tottenham fans will be hoping that a Champions League final is enough to prompt chairman Daniel Levy to give Pochettino access to funds in order to invest and grow this summer.

Football London journalist Alasdair Gold now claims that multiple sources have confirmed exactly that, and Pochettino will be given enough money to ‘challenge’ in 2019/20.

This comes after reports have claimed Poch will be granted a £100m war chest this summer (Sun).
