Journalist claims Spurs have ‘huge’ interest in French striker as Harry Kane replacement

According to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Tottenham Hotspur have made Randal Kolo Muani their ‘priority target’ for the summer if they need to replace Harry Kane.

The speculation surrounding Kane is growing by the day, as talk of the star striker leaving Tottenham becomes more and more intense.

With just 12 months left on his current contract, the North London club face a dilemma – cash in on their talisman now, or lose him for nothing next summer.

It is thought Bayern Munich are growing in confidence that they can get a deal wrapped up for Kane by early next month and are ready to make a new bid for the England captain in the near future (Football Insider).

Randal Kolo Muani could be Harry Kane replacement

Naturally, Spurs need to think about finding a replacement for Kane, and Sacha Tavolieri seems to think Eintracht Frankfurt attacker Randal Kolo Muani is the man to fill those boots.

The journalist tweeted: “Randal Kolo Muani to be the priority target striker for Harry Kane’s replacement at Tottenham. Interest is huge and talks on player’s side has just started.

“I understand this deal could happen as ENIC Group gave green light to Daniel Levy for a sale of Harry Kane.

“It’s an €80m deal. Eintracht Frankfurt have already discussed with clubs before. Not yet from Spurs. The French striker’s keen to the move. Wait and see.”

Of all the players who have been mooted as a possible replacement for Harry Kane, this feels very realistic and also would be a good move on Tottenham’s side. Randal Kolo Muani would be a fine signing if it comes to it this summer.
