Journalist claims Spurs have offered player swap deal to Inter Milan for Skriniar

Football London’s Alasdair Gold has now reported that Tottenham have offered multiple players to Inter Milan in exchange for central defender Milan Skriniar this summer.

The report claims that the Slovakian is now keen to join up with Jose Mourinho in North London this season and the two clubs are in talks.

Inter apparently want around £45m for the player, while Spurs are only willing to shell out £32m with add-ons.

This comes after it was reported this week that Tottenham chief scout Steve Hitchen was in Milan for talks over the deal (Sky Sports).

Gold reveals that one major problem for Spurs in the pursuit of a deal is their need to raise funds through player sales.

The North Londoners have reportedly already offered players such as Juan Foyth to Inter Milan as part of a Skriniar bid, but the Serie A side have turned all proposals down.

Spurs are said to remain hopeful at the prospect of signing Skriniar but need to sell first-team players beforehand.
