Journalist claims this ‘could be an indicator’ that Parrott may be on bench for FA Cup

Tottenham Hotspur’s U23 side took on Wolves today in the youth league, and there were some familiar faces on show for the Lilywhites.

The likes of Maurizio Pochettino and Harvey White started for Spurs, but the most notable inclusion has to go down as 18-year-old Troy Parrott.

Just yesterday, the youngster was running around on the pitch for the senior side in the 3-2 loss against the same opposition.

However, with Parrott playing just three minutes on Sunday, he was clearly fit enough to start for the U23 side this evening.

It took him less than ten minutes to find the back of the net when Pochettino squared it for him to tap home.

However, Parrott was then taken off at half time, with journalist Alasdair Gold claiming that this could be an indicator he might be involved on Wednesday night.

Spurs take on Norwich City at home in the FA Cup fifth round.
