Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla has claimed that Bryan Gil is the only attacker Lazio is trying to sign before the transfer window closes.
With just two more days left in the transfer window, things have gone very quiet at Tottenham. The club made a brisk start to the window, bringing both Timo Werner and Radu Dragusin through the door quite early, but not much has happened since.
Ange Postecoglou has confirmed in his pre-match press conference ahead of the clash against Brentford that the club are ‘unlikely’ to do any more business before the deadline (Football.London).

Lazio remain keen on Bryan Gil
Gil is perhaps the player who looks among the most likeliest to exit the club before the 11 pm deadline on Thursday. Over the past couple of weeks, the winger has been mooted as a target for the likes of Lazio, Brentford and Brighton (Corriere dello Sport via Sport Witness).
Pedulla has now said that if Maurizio Sarri’s men do end up signing an attacker before the window slams shut, it is likely to be Gil, with the Spaniard being the only player on the Italian side’s radar.
He told Sportitalia: “Lazio is evaluating various profiles for the attack given the uncertain situations of Felipe Anderson and Pedro who could leave in the summer. The only profile of interest at the moment is Bryan Gil, the Spaniard from Tottenham.
“He is convincing from an age point of view and technically, but decidedly less so for the performances he had in terms of goals and assists. However, he remains the only name evaluated by Lazio at the moment.”
Spurs Web Opinion
I would not be surprised if Gil ends up sealing a loan move away from club before the deadline. The winger will be keen on getting game time, which he is not likely to do at Tottenham after the arrival of Timo Werner and the return to fitness of Manor Solomon.
