Sport Bild journalist Christian Falk has said that there is no truth to reports of Bayern Munich’s interest in Tottenham striker Harry Kane.
Reports emanating from England over the last few weeks have indicated that Kane is loving life under Antonio Conte and may even be ready to open talks with Spurs regarding a potential new contract (The Evening Standard).
The Daily Mail claimed this week that the Tottenham hierarchy believe the 28-year-old can be convinced to remain at the club for the rest of his career.
However, Alfredo Pedulla reported on Thursday that despite Spurs offering Kane a new contract, Bayern are eyeing a move for the England captain.
The report suggested that the Bavarians are keeping tabs on the striker’s situation and could look to snap him up as a replacement for Robert Lewandowski.
However, Falk has now taken to social media to reveal that Kane is not on Bayern’s radar.
NOT TRUE ❌ is that Bayern made an enquiry to Tottenham about Harry Kane https://t.co/7OpZWwCK7A

It was clear to anyone with half a brain that Bayern were not going to be able to afford Kane. Even if they had decided to break their policy and offer £150m for the striker, Kane would have likely not been interested in a move to the Bundesliga.
