Journalist makes confident prediction about Harry Kane’s Tottenham return, fans will love it

Press Association reporter George Sessions has made a confident claim about Harry Kane’s potential return to Tottenham as speculation continues to link the striker with a move away from Bayern Munich.

After weeks of speculation linking him with a return to the Premier League next summer, the centre-forward finally broke his silence on his future last week.

Kane said that he can see himself staying at Bayern for longer, and revealed that the desire to return to the Premier League is not as strong as it once was for him.

That came as a big blow to Tottenham, who retain a first-refusal clause to buy back their record goalscorer.

Journalist is convinced Harry Kane will return to Tottenham

While a clause in Kane’s contract allows him to leave Bayern for £57m next summer, the striker would have to inform the German club of his desire to leave by the end of the January window for the clause to be active at the end of the season.

George Sessions is convinced that the 33-year-old will be back at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, but he believes the move is more likely to happen in 2027 than at the end of this season.

The journalist said on The Tottenham Way podcast: “I do think he will, I genuinely do think he will come back to Tottenham. I just don’t know when that is, and it’s sort of everything that’s happened over the last few days just points us in the direction that it’s going to be kind of north of 2027, I’d say.”

What Kane is focused on right now as Spurs circle

Just a few days ago, Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Tottenham would indeed jump at the chance to re-sign Kane if the striker becomes available.

However, he made it clear that for the moment, the England captain’s sole focus is on helping Bayern win all the trophies they are competing in this season, including the Champions League.

Tottenham are not the only ones circling over the striker, with Man United, Chelsea and Barcelona also rumoured to be interested in Kane.
