Journalist names four centre-backs Spurs are looking at this summer

Football.London’s Alasdair Gold has revealed the four central defenders who are at the top of Tottenham’s wishlist heading into the summer transfer window.

Centre-back is arguably the area in which Spurs are most in need of strengthening this summer.

Toby Alderweireld and Davinson Sanchez have been linked with moves away from the club after disappointing seasons.

Gold has now revealed that Tottenham would like to bring in a centre-back with Premier League experience.

While the decision on who to bring in will depend on the new manager, the club are already said to have drawn up options.

The journalist reveals that Joachim Andersen is at the top of the club’s wishlist on the back of his impressive season on loan at Fulham while Brighton’s Lewis Dunk is also said to be an option, even though his age makes him less attractive.

Gold claims that Spurs could also make a move for Nikola Milenkovic despite the Serbian’s lack of Premier League experience.

Tottenham are said to believe they can get the 23-year-old on a cut-price deal since he only has 12 months left to run on his current deal with Fiorentina.

Gold also adds that Spurs could make another attempt to land Milan Skriniar after being priced out of a deal for the Slovak international last summer.

He suggests that the North Londoners could look to take advantage of Inter Milan’s financial struggles to strike a deal for centre-back, who has just two years left on his contract.
