Journalist offers injury update on Son, Sanchez and Lo Celso ahead of Man Utd clash

With Harry Kane, Steven Bergwijn, and Moussa Sissoko all returning to full fitness, there was hope that Jose Mourinho would have a fully fit squad to choose from when the Premier League resumes.

However, that will not be the case, with reports confirming on Monday that Japhet Tanganga has been ruled out for the next few weeks with a back stress fracture (Telegraph).

There were also fears that Tottenham may have suffered an additional injury, with reports indicating last week that Lo Celso could have picked up a knock after the midfielder was absent from the recent eleven vs eleven internal match.

However, the Argentine was pictured training at Hotspur Way last week, much to the relief of Spurs fans.

Football.London’s Alasdair Gold has now taken to social media to reveal that Son Heung-min and Davinson Sanchez both took part in the training drills on Tuesday, with the South Korean now training without the strapping seen in the recent Norwich friendly.

Gold also revealed that Lo Celso was among those spotted at Hotspur Way.

We have to keep in mind that the players are being put through a mini pre-season at the moment. It is only natural that some players will pick up niggles when they come back after an extended break. Let us hope we do not see too many of our stars breaking down over the next couple of weeks.
