Sky Sports journalist Michael Bridge has predicted that Harry Kane will start every single game for Tottenham until the World Cup, barring the Carabao Cup third-round clash against Nottingham Forest.
Tottenham have ten matches in all competitions until the break for the World Cup on November 12, including six Premier League fixtures, three Champions League matches and an EFL Cup clash at the City Ground.
Spurs do have a much stronger squad compared to last season, and Conte has shown much more willingness to rotate his squad over recent weeks.
However, some players like Harry Kane, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Eric Dier and Hugo Lloris have started every single match across all competitions so far this season.
Spurs are missing two attacking players in the form of Dejan Kulusevski and Lucas Moura due to injury at the moment, but even if they are available, Bridge believes that Kane is unlikely to get much rest before he leads England into the World Cup in Qatar.
The journalist told GiveMeSport: “I think he’ll (Kane) start every game bar Nottingham Forest in the Carabao Cup. I do.
“Just listening to Conte off-camera, when he speaks to the written press, he just mentions Kane all the time, I don’t think he can afford to not play him.

“Maybe if Tottenham win their two Champions League home games, then he might go with Heung-Min Son and Richarlison in the final game and Kane on the bench, but I think Conte would be getting seriously itchy feet.”

I believe one of the reasons Conte will be desperate to win the next two Champions League matches at home is so that Spurs seal qualification and have some breathing space heading into the final group match away at Marseille. That would allow the Italian to rest some of his key players for the trip to France.
