PA Sport journalist Jonathan Veal has confirmed that Antonio Conte will hold his press conference previewing Tottenham’s clash against Leeds this Saturday as normal.
Conte endured an emotional outburst on Wednesday evening after seeing his side fall to a 1-0 defeat at Burnley, in which he seemed to question whether he was the right man to lead Spurs going forward.
The Italian admitted he would speak to the club about assessing his tenure in North London (Sky Sports), with Spurs now suffering a fourth defeat in five Premier League games.
But, despite the outside noise, Veal has since confirmed it is still ‘business as usual’ at Tottenham regarding the 52-year-old’s pre-match preparations for the trip to Leeds this weekend.
The journalist reports Conte will hold his regular press conference at 1.30 pm on Friday ahead of the Saturday lunchtime encounter against Marcelo Bielsa’s side.

Conte’s outburst yesterday seemed pretty concerning from the outside but everything looks to be carrying on as normal from inside Tottenham.
Maybe it was pure emotion and frustration boiling over at not getting the desired results, but no doubt he will be questioned about that by the press on Friday.
