Journalist provides deadline day update on Rose, Dele, Tanganga and Gazzaniga

The Evening Standard’s Dan Kilpatrick has taken to social media to reveal that Tottenham Hotspur are not expecting to do any more business between now and when the transfer window shuts at 11 pm tonight.

It was previously reported that, although Dele Alli was likely to stay at Tottenham, the likes of Paulo Gazzaniga could be on their way out.

Gazzaniga was linked with a deadline day loan move to Elche in Spain in order to get his career back on track.

Meanwhile, there was also speculation linking Danny Rose with a move to Turkish club Trabzonspor, while West Bromwich Albion and Southampton were said to be interested in singing Japhet Tanganga on loan.

However, if Kilpatrick is to be believed, none of those deals are expected to go through in the few hours that are left before the window slams shut.

It looks like it is going to be a rather quiet deadline day at N17. In other news, I would really feel for Gedson if he is still at Spurs by tomorrow morning as the youngster would have essentially wasted 18 months of his development at a crucial stage of in his career.
