Journalist provides update on Arkadiusz Milik transfer situation amidst Spurs links

Football London’s Alasdair Gold has now revealed that the representatives of Arkadiusz Milik are currently ‘pushing him to various clubs’.

Tottenham are said to be included in the situation but the North Londoners are still unsure as to whether they want to sign the Polish striker.

Gold implies that one of the factors behind their doubt is Milik’s failed move to Roma and the ‘speculation over the reasons’ the deal collapsed.

Milik boasts an impressive 114 career goals and 34 assists in just 271 games, including 14 goals in 35 games for Napoli last season (TransferMarkt).

Spurs are said to be finding it hard to attract a new striker this summer as all targets know they will be playing as second fiddle to Harry Kane. This has been made worse by the fact that Heng-min Son and Gareth Bale rule out Mourinho regularly playing two strikers.

Harry Kane remains Tottenham’s only out-and-out striker option in North London, something that Mourinho has been openly keen on rectifying in the transfer market.
