Journalist reveals amazing 450 minute record Davinson Sanchez now has at Spurs

Sky Sports journalist, Jamie Weir, has revealed that Tottenham have now not conceded a single goal with Davinson Sanchez on the pitch for over seven and a half hours.

This comes after Spurs saw out a narrow 1-0 victory over Wolves in the early Saturday kick-off today, with Sanchez lining up on the right side of a back three.

With Cristian Romero out injured, the Colombian deputized as he so often did last season when the Argentine was unavailable and, once again, Sanchez looked impressive when called upon.

While he left a little to be desired with the ball at his feet, Sanchez defended efficiently against a tricky Wolves front line, and more than played his part in yet another clean sheet.

Weir also pointed out that the last goal conceded by Spurs when Sanchez was on the pitch came all the way back in February – an 89th-minute penalty scored by Riyad Mahrez for Man City.

Spurs Web Opinion:

Many have been critical of Sanchez in the past, myself included, but you often see a back three formation is the making of certain players. In Sanchez’s case, every time he has come in to replace Romero he has looked more than competent.
