Journalist reveals argument he spotted between Lloris and Son today against Wolves

Alasdair Gold has revealed he spotted Hugo Lloris shouting at Heung-min Son during Tottenham’s 1-0 victory over Wolves this afternoon.

Spurs endured a flat first-half performance in the early Saturday kick-off before finding an extra couple of gears in the second half, with Dejan Kulusevski and Ivan Perisic impressing in the wide areas.

While his strike partner Harry Kane got on the scoresheet, it was a rather disappointing day for Heung-min Son who spurned a couple of good opportunities in front of goal.

Alasdair Gold has also now revealed that Hugo Lloris had a go at his South Korean teammate for failing to offer an option on the break, with Son having a few words to say in reply to his captain.

Fortunately, the disagreement did not reach the level of the altercation we saw between the two players a couple of seasons ago, which spilt into the dressing room.

Spurs Web Opinion:

I love seeing Hugo have a go at players during a match. He is the captain and it’s his job to order people around or call people out when improvements need to be made. If he wanted Son to make himself available for a throw on the break, he should always make it known.
