Journalist reveals details as Spurs reportedly express interest in Paulo Dybala

Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla has revealed that Tottenham Hotspur have expressed an interest in Paulo Dybala but the Argentine wants to wait for an offer from Inter Milan.

Dybala’s seven-year spell at Juventus is set to come to an end this summer when the Argentine’s contract runs out, with Spurs reported to be one of the front-runners for his signature (Foot Mercato).

The North London club are thought to be facing competition from the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid for the 28-year-old, with the Nerrazuri said to be the favourites to land the forward (But! Football Club).

Pedulla has now told William Hill News that Spurs, Newcastle and Atletico have reached out to Dybala’s agent to discuss the possibility of a transfer.

However, he reveals that the Juve star ‘wants to wait’ for Inter as moving to the San Siro would be his preference.

Pedulla claims that ‘as long as there is a possibility’ of joining Inter, Dybala ‘will not respond’ to other suitors.

Spurs Web Opinion

I would be extremely surprised if Spurs make a move for Dybala this summer. We do not really need a forward of his profile, given the impact Kulusevski has made since arriving. The only good argument for signing the Argentine is the fact that he is available on a free transfer.
