Journalist reveals exactly when Reguilon and Harry Winks will leave Tottenham

Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Tottenham left-back Sergio Reguilon will officially be an Atletico Madrid player on Tuesday.

Reguilon has not been part of Antonio Conte’s first-team plans since reporting for pre-season training this summer and it finally appears that the North London club are going to offload him, with just days left until the transfer window shuts.

Romano revealed on Sunday that Spurs and Atletico were ironing out the ‘final details’ of the transfer before the left-back moves to the Metropolitano Stadium on loan.

The journalist has now revealed the 25-year-old is expected to fly to Madrid tomorrow to have his medical before putting pen to paper on a contract with Diego Simeone’s side.

Romano asserted that an agreement between Spurs and the La Liga club has been in place since Sunday.

He added that Harry Winks is also expected to undergo his medical in Italy tomorrow before completing a loan move to Sampdoria.

Spurs Web Opinion

Bryan Gil, Sergio Reguilon and Harry Winks seem to be on the verge of joining Valencia, Atletico and Sampdoria respectively but the speculation over Tanganga’s future has gone quiet over recent days.

Perhaps, Spurs are considering keeping hold of the 23-year-old until the January transfer window as replacing him at this stage of the transfer window could prove tricky, especially given the club’s issues with homegrown numbers.
