Rose has endured a miserable time at Watford since joining the club last summer after his contract with Tottenham ran out.
The former England international made just eight appearances for the club (Transfermarkt), with the last of those coming in December before he fell out of favour under Claudio Ranieri, with the Hornets eventually being relegated to the Championship.
Despite being contracted until next year at Vicarage Road, the left-back has reportedly been training at Hotspur Way this summer as he attempts to seal an exit from Watford (Watford Observer).
The 32-year-old was even seen playing for Tottenham’s Under-21s in their pre-season friendly against Enfield Town last month.

Gold has revealed that Rose frequently spent time with the Tottenham academy youngsters last season and the experienced Premier League star was supporting the Under-21s from the stands on Friday as they fell to a 2-0 defeat to the Toffees.
Here at the Lamex Stadium tonight as Spurs U21s, including Alfie Devine, host Everton. Danny Rose watching from the stands as he has frequently since spending his last season at Tottenham with the group. Great that he continues to take an interest in them. https://t.co/Yg5MdxN4Lw

Spurs Web Opinion
Rose did make some mistakes during his final couple of seasons at Spurs but it is great to see that has not soured his relationship with those at the club. I would love to see the 32-year-old return to Tottenham in an academy coaching role once he hangs up his boots.
