Journalist reveals how Bale has already ‘blown away’ Spurs staff and players in training

Football.London’s Alasdair Gold has revealed that Jose Mourinho and his coaching staff have been extremely impressed by what they have seen of Gareth Bale in training.

With many of Tottenham’s first-team stars away on international duty, the Welshman is being put through the paces at Hotspur Way, along with others like Carlos Vinicius, Lucas Moura and Tanguy Ndombele.

The 31-year-old has certainly been all-smiles in the training pictures, with his agent Jonathan Barnett confirming yesterday that the winger has found happiness again after enduring a difficult couple of years at Madrid (talkSPORT).

If Gold is to be believed, Bale’s happiness and motivation is certainly coming across in training. The journalist reveals that the Tottenham staff, as well as the players, have been “blown away” by Bale’s quality and drive in training this week.

It is said that training with the superstar is serving as an inspiration for Tottenham’s young talent like Jack Clarke, Harvey White, and Dennis Cirkin.

Spurs Web Opinion

Footballers, in general, play at their best when they are happy but Bale, in particular, was always a confidence player even during his previous spell at Spurs. Now that he is back in his element and seems to be enjoying his football again, I genuinely believe that he could surprise a lot of people with how good he is when he steps on to the pitch. At 31 years of age, he probably will not be far off his best when he gets match fit, and that is a scary proposition for Premier League defences.
