Alasdair Gold has revealed that Yves Bissouma and Fraser Forster will both have to isolate for a full seven days from their positive COVID-19 test results.
The pair missed Tottenham’s first pre-season fixture of the summer against Team K-League this week and will also play no part in the match against Sevilla this weekend.
The two new Spurs signings are currently isolating in the team hotel in South Korea, but will have to fly back to London separately from the rest of the squad who are set to travel on Sunday.
Football.London reported before the Team K-League match yesterday that Bissouma and Forster were unavailable as both players were ill.
This means the Tottenham duo will likely be required to isolate until Tuesday or Wednesday, depending on when the positive tests were returned.
The news comes as a blow to Bissouma, Forster, Conte and the Tottenham fans who would have been hoping to catch an early glimpse of their new signings.
In addition on Bissouma and Forster, they are expected to isolate in Spurs' team hotel here in Korea for a total of seven days from the positive test. That means they will have to fly back to the UK separately from the rest of the Tottenham squad, who travel home on Sunday.

Spurs Web Opinion:
It isn’t as big a deal for a goalkeeper, but Conte would have wanted Bissouma working on fitness and match sharpness rather than sitting in a hotel room for a week. At least there is plenty of pre-season still to go though.
