Journalist reveals how many more signings Nuno wants at Spurs this summer

The Daily Star’s Paul Brown has revealed that Nuno Espirito Santo wants at least two more signings before the transfer market shuts at the end of the month.

Tottenham have already snapped up goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini and centre-back Cristian Romero from Atalanta as well as winger Bryan Gil from Sevilla.

Danny Rose, Paulo Gazzaniga, Joe Hart, Erik Lamela and Toby Alderweirled have all left the club this summer.

Football.London’s Alasdair Gold has indicated that Tottenham will now prioritise signing another centre-back and a right-back before looking for a creative addition.

Brown has now asserted that Nuno wants to add a minimum of two more players to his squad.

With Tanguy Ndombele’s future in doubt, it is asserted that the Portuguese coach is keen on signing a central midfielder, with Bayern Munich’s Corentin Tolisso, Borussia Monchengladbach’s Denis Zakaria and Sporting Lisbon’s Joao Palhinha all alleged to be on the Lilywhites’ radar.

I think two or three more signings would be needed if Harry Kane stays put. However, if the England captian leaves, one would expect the club to bring in at least four more players, including potentially two strikers.
