Journalist reveals how many more signings Spurs expect to make this summer

The Athletic’s Jack Pitt-Brooke has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur are hoping to make just two more signings before the transfer window closes this summer.

Tottenham have had a busy summer so far, with Pierluigi Gollini, Bryan Gil and Cristian Romero arriving through the door while Danny Rose, Paulo Gazzaniga, Erik Lamela, Toby Alderweireld and Joe Hart have all departed the club.

Tottenham are expected to do more business in the next two weeks, with Football.London’s Alasdair Gold suggesting that the Lilywhites want to sign another centre-back and a right-back before looking for a creative addition.

Pitt-Brooke has now claimed that Spurs only want to bring two more players in, another defender and an attacker.

This has been backed up by Fabrizio Romano in his recent appearance on the Last Word On Spurs YouTube channel, in which the journalist said Spurs want to make ‘two or three’ more signings.

If Spurs plan on making just two or three more signings, that pretty much rules out the possibility of Kane’s departure. If Kane does leave, one would imagine that Paratici and Nuno would want to add at least four more players to the squad including two attackers.
