Journalist reveals how much club will charge for one of Poch’s key transfer targets

Duncan Castles has now claimed that Fulham will demand £27 million from Spurs for Ryan Sessegnon (Play Acast – The Transfer Window podcast).

Tottenham have been linked to the versatile wing-back throughout the window and he is thought to be one of Poch’s key targets (Football London).

Sessegnon had a slightly underwhelming last campaign in a Fulham side that failed to stay in the league. However he showed his potential the season before when he won both the EFL player of the year and EFL Young Player of the year.

Sessegnon can play at left-back and on the left-wing and would provide some much-needed depth in these areas. It is thought that Pochettino sees Sessegnon as a long term replacement for Danny Rose (Football London).

Spurs were linked with Sessegnon in as early as 2017 for a fee of around £50 million (Express). It appears that Levy’s patience has paid off and he may be able to secure the exciting English talent at a knock-down price.

Spurs Web Opinion

Sessegnon would be a quality signing for Spurs as he would be a player with unlimited raw potential for Poch to develop. Securing a talent like Sessegnon for £27 Million would be a real coup from Levy and would prove why he is one of the shrewdest negotiators in the transfer market
