Journalist reveals how Spurs will deal with Aurier and Sissoko’s lockdown breach

Football London journalist, Alasdair Gold, has revealed that Tottenham will ‘be having words’ with both Moussa Sissoko and Serge Aurier about their lockdown breach.

The two Spurs first-team players appeared on Aurier’s social media today, training outdoors in close proximity (Football London).

This is a direct breach of government guidelines which state that outdoor exercise must take place either alone or with a member of your own household.

This follows on from Jose Mourinho and Tanguy Ndombele holding a training session together earlier this month. The Spurs head coach was forced to admit that he was wrong for going against government advice (Guardian).

Ryan Sessegnon and Davinson Sanchez were also seen jogging side by side, making it three separate instances of the Tottenham squad breaking lockdown rules.

Serge Aurier has since deleted the videos of himself and Sissoko, although Gold understands that the club will be talking to each of the players about the incident.
