Journalist Ben Jacobs has just made a big revelation about Harry Kane’s plans for his future and whether the striker intends to make a fairytale return to Tottenham.

Harry Kane has unfinished business at Spurs
Kane has already sealed his legendary status at Tottenham, becoming the club’s record goalscorer and giving Spurs fans plenty of memories that will last for a lifetime.
However, the striker is yet to lift silverware in a Spurs shirt and some supporters will be dreaming that the player returns to his boyhood club and proudly hoists aloft a trophy before he hangs up his boots.
Those hopes were boosted when it emerged earlier this month that the 31-year-old’s contract at Bayern Munich has an exit clause of £54m, which would become active in the summer if he decides he wants to leave the club.

What Harry Kane thinks about potential Tottenham return
There is no suggestion at the moment that the former Tottenham man is considering an exit from the Allianz Arena, with the striker making it clear last week that he is happy at Munich.
However, reports in the British press have suggested that Spurs have not completely ruled out the possibility of making an audacious move to re-sign their former player this summer, with the Lilywhites having a first refusal on the England captain.
Jacobs has now revealed that Kane himself has also not ruled out the prospect of returning to N17 before the end of his career.
When asked about the striker potentially returning to his former stomping ground, the journalist told GiveMeSport: “I think if Kane returns to the Premier League, there is a willingness to go back to Spurs. That’s not been ruled out by the player.
“We have to wait and see if there’s an appetite for Tottenham to do that deal, especially with Dominic Solanke.”

Tottenham fans need to look forward
There is no doubt that the prospect of Kane returning would be a dream come true for most Spurs fans, but that likely will not be at the forefront of Johan Lange or Ange Postecoglou‘s mind at the moment.
Spurs are building a long-term project right now and are prioritising signing young, energetic players with a high ceiling.
It would represent a major shift in strategy for the club to suddenly decide to go in for Kane. One suspects that it is unlikely to happen under the current regime.
