The Athletic journalist Seb Stafford-Bloor has revealed that he repeatedly keeps hearing praise about Dominic Solanke’s character no matter who he talks to.

Postecoglou wants the right characters at Spurs
Ange Postecoglou has spoken time and again about how he only wants players who want to come to Tottenham for the right reasons.
In fact, the Spurs head coach even admitted on Saturday that during his conversations with Solanke, he immediately got the feeling that the centre-forward was extremely keen to come to N17 and be a part of the project at the club (Football.London).
This is something Football.London’s Alasdair Gold also wrote about a couple of days ago in his column, revealing that the 26-year-old ‘was desperate’ to join the Lilywhites this summer.
The journalist explained that despite Solanke’s desire to make the move, he did not agitate to leave Bournemouth and went about things in the right way, which is what no one at the South Coast club has a single bad thing to say about the newest Spurs signing.

Solanke has a great personality
Stafford-Bloor has now told The Athletic FC Podcast about Solanke: “What I will say is that everyone you speak to about Dom Solanke talks about what a good personality he has and what a good character he is.
“One of the things that Postecoglou brings up time and time again when you talk to him about the players he signs is that he wants the feeling that they have the enthusiasm to play for Spurs.”

Solanke comes across as a fantastic person and will undoubtedly fit in well in the Tottenham dressing room.
The 26-year-old also seems to have a quiet confidence about himself and he will fancy his chances of scoring 20-plus goals this season.
