Journalist Ben Jacobs has revealed that Tottenham Hotspur have expressed an interest in signing Milan Skriniar this summer.
Tottenham are reportedly in the market for two centre-backs this summer, particularly if Joe Rodon and Davinson Sanchez leave the club (Football.London).
Bastoni was reported to be Spurs’ top centre-back target but the 23-year-old’s agent insisted last week that the defender will remain at the San Siro (Football Italia).
The Athletic had previously reported that Inter have to sell one of their Bastoni or Lautaro Martinez this summer in order to balance their books.
However, Jacobs has now taken to social media to reveal that the Serie A club could keep both players and cash in on Skriniar instead.
The journalist claims that Inter want £69m for the Slovak this summer, with Paris Saint-Germain leading the race to sign the centre-back.
He states that PSG initially offered £42m for Skriniar and are ready to return with an improved offer of around £55m including add-ons for the defender.
Jacobs reveals that Spurs and Chelsea have also expressed an interest in the 27-year-old but neither club have launched an offer so far.
Chelsea and Spurs also interested. No offer from either yet. Inter expect to keep Martinez and Bastoni and may be forced to lower their asking price on Skriniar, especially if Dybala and Lukaku arrive. Skriniar wants his future resolved by early July so expect some clarity soon.

Spurs Web Opinion
I expect Spurs to spend big on a left-sided centre-back this summer but I do not think the North London club will spend upwards of £50m on a player like Skriniar, who would essentially cover for Cristian Romero and Eric Dier. The likes of Gleison Bremer and Roger Ibanez are likely to be much cheaper than the Slovak.
