Journalist reveals Spurs player will have medical tomorrow ahead of transfer away

Gianluca Di Marzio has revealed that Tanguy Ndombele will have his medical tomorrow ahead of sealing a loan move to Napoli.

Over the past few days, it has emerged that Ndombele is now close to joining Napoli on loan, with the Serie A club reportedly having the option to make the deal permeant for €30m (£25.3m), according to Fabrizio Romano.

Rai Sport reported on Tuesday (16/08/22 – as relayed by Tutto Napoli) that the Frenchman’s loan move to Naples will only be completed once Fabian Ruiz leaves the Italian club to join Paris Saint-Germain.

The report explained that the Tottenham star is expected to be a Napoli player by the third match day, which is on August 28th against Fiorentina.

However, if Di Marzio’s latest update is to be believed, the transfer could be completed a lot sooner. The journalist has taken to social media to claim that Ndombele’s medical has been pencilled in for tomorrow.

If Ndombele seals his move to Napoli within the next two days, that should still leave Spurs with plenty of time to offload Reguilon and Winks.

The England international will likely be easier to move on since he would be of interest to at least a couple of Premier League clubs.

Offloading Reguilon will be harder given the financial state of La Liga sides and Spurs might have no choice but to agree to another loan.
