Journalist Dean Jones has revealed that Antonio Nusa already has some big admirers at Tottenham, with officials at the North London club said to have been mightily impressed by the young winger.
Nusa has emerged as one of the most exciting players in the Belgian top flight over the last 18 months and many in his native Norway are now hopeful that the youngster could follow in the footsteps of the likes of Erling Haaland and Martin Odegaard, and evolve into a future star.
It was reported by TEAMtalk on Wednesday that Spurs remain confident of winning the race for the 18-year-old and hopeful of finalising the deal by the end of this week.
Meanwhile, Ben Jacobs has also suggested on the Last Word on Spurs podcast that the transfer is still very much on course, with the negotiations between Tottenham and Club Brugge now alleged to be at an ‘advanced’ stage.

Tottenham are really impressed by Antonio Nusa
Jones has now revealed that everyone at Hotspur Way is convinced about Nusa’s potential, with Ange Postecoglou believing that the player can be moulded to fit his system.
The journalist told GiveMeSport: “Nusa is one that I’ve heard a lot more about, and I know that his style of play has captivated them (Tottenham) in recent times. What this guy can do on the ball is absolutely ridiculous, but he’s also got a real work rate about him.
“The age that he’s at means he can still be moulded to fit what Postecoglou is going to want from someone in that front line over the coming years.
“So, the news of discussions will continue. If it doesn’t happen in this window, it’s not a disaster because that was never the plan. But it would be nice to have done early knowing that, for next season, they’ve got a player like that coming into the setup.”
Spurs Web Opinion
The fact that Tottenham have decided to push ahead with a move for Nusa now rather than wait until the summer is proof that Postecoglou and the club’s recruitment department are convinced that the 18-year-old will be a future star.
They likely anticipate a huge bidding war for his signature next summer, which is presumably why they are pushing to get a deal agreed now.
