Journalist reveals the criteria which Daniel Levy is looking for in next Spurs head coach

It has been reported that one of Daniel Levy’s criteria for Jose Mourinho’s replacement is to appoint a relatively young coach.

Bild journalist Christian Falk explained on Twitter that despite the fact that former RB Leipzig boss Ralf Rangnick has been offered the job, Levy wants someone who has a younger profile.

Rangnick, 62, is currently out of work following his role as Head of Sport and Development at Red Bull.

Levy parted company with Mourinho last month just a matter of days before the Carabao Cup final with the club seventh in the Premier League and having suffered a humiliating exit in the Europa League at the hands of Dinamo Zagreb.

Football.London have previously claimed that Spurs remain eager to have their new head coach in place before the end of the month.

Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers is said to have admirers within the North London club, however, the former Celtic man is said not to be interested in leaving Champions League-bound Leicester City (Evening Standard).
