Football.London’s Alasdair Gold has revealed that Ledley King is already making waves in his relatively short career as a Tottenham coach.
King was drafted into Jose Mourinho’s backroom staff to replace Ricardo Formosinho, who departed at the end of last season.
Based on the defensive improvement Tottenham have shown at the start of this season, one certainly cannot question the impact the 40-year-old is having.
Eric Dier previously hailed King’s influence and admitted that it has been great to talk to him before and after matches.
Gold has now revealed on his Youtube Channel that the former England centre-back is now very vocal on the touchline during games and seems to be growing in confidence.
The journalist highlighted how the Spurs legend drills Tottenham’s back four before matches and often holds training drills at Hotspur Way with the backline.
Gold claimed that those at Tottenham are really pleased with how King is doing in a coaching capacity.
