Journalist reveals update on Lo Celso ‘injury’ – Points towards photo evidence

Tottenham Hotspur took part in an 11 v 11 friendly match at their home stadium this week, although there were a number of notable absences.

The likes of Giovani Lo Celso, Davinson Sanchez, Japhet Tanganga, and Paulo Gazzaniga were not seen in action during the game at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

After the match, Football London journalist, Alasdair Gold, claimed that Lo Celso may have picked up a knock, which would explain his absence.

Such an idea came as a big blow to Spurs fans as Lo Celso had been one of the brightest sparks in the Lilywhite attack before the suspension of the Premier League.

However, in a fresh update, Tottenham tweeted images of the Argentine in training today at Hotspur Way, putting worries to rest.

It remains unclear as to whether Lo Celso had been injured, but journalist Jonathan Veal highlighted that it looks as if he is now back in training either way.
