The Athletic journalist, Charlie Eccleshare has revealed that ‘time is running out’ for Juan Foyth to secure an exit away from North London this summer.
The Argentine has found minutes few and far between under Jose Mourinho of late and is seemingly dropping down the central defender pecking order.
With the emergence of Japhet Tanganga from the academy, Eric Dier dropping back into defence, and the possibility of new signings yet to come, Juan Foyth’s game time for the 2020/21 season looks rather bleak.
A report from Cadena SER revealed earlier this week that Valencia are interested in taking Foyth on loan for the season, while Spurs have also apparently received proposals from Leeds United and Villarreal.
However, Eccleshare claims that a summer move may not be on the cards for Foyth and the Argentine may instead make his exit in the January transfer window.
Foyth has featured only 30 times for Tottenham in the three years he has been at the club, with just 16 coming in the Premier League (Wikipedia).
Juan Foyth has been linked with a move away from #THFC this window but am told feeling is that time is running out for that to happen and a Jan move is more likely.
