Journalist reveals what the Valencia fans already think about Spurs’ Bryan Gil

A piece by journalist Maite Jimenez for Spanish publication Sport has showered praise on the impact that Bryan Gil has already made at Valencia.

Gil completed a loan move to Valencia on transfer deadline day, just six months after his transfer from Sevilla to Spurs in the summer.

The 20-year-old has enjoyed an impressive start to his time with Los Che. According to reports, Valencia have been so impressed by the Spain international that they are already ready to open talks with Spurs over extending his loan into next season (Cadena SER).

Tottenham are thought to be hopeful that Gil has a future in North London and expect him to return to the club at the end of his loan spell in the summer (Evening Standard).

Jimenez has now waxed lyrical about the impact that the Spurs man has had at the Mestalla, insisting the winger has already won the fans over.

She wrote that Gil has helped the Valencia supporters ‘regain faith in their team’ on the back of just four appearances for the club.

The article states that Los Che fans have already been won over by the youngster, whose performances so far being described as ‘fast, electric, daring, confident and with enough quality to avoid rivals, gain meters and be differential in the danger zone.’

Gil already proved during his loan spell at Eibar what he was capable of and so, I have not been surprised by the impact he has had on his return to La Liga.

If Conte does not consider him to be ready for first-team football at Spurs, I would love to see the 20-year-old being loaned out to the Premier League club next season so that he can get used to the demands of English football.
