Journalist reveals when Gareth Bale is expected to be fit after Tottenham return

Football.London’s Alasdair Gold has revealed that Tottenham forward Gareth Bale is expected to be fit in just a couple of weeks.

Bale’s return to Spurs has understandably created a lot of excitement, with some fans eager to see the Welshman in a front three alongside Harry Kane and Heung-min Son.

The Lilywhites suffered a blow on Sunday, with Son Heung-min being withdrawn with a hamstring injury at half-time against Newcastle.

However, Mourinho confirmed today that the South Korean could be back as soon as the Manchester United away game in the Premier League this weekend.

Gold has now revealed that Bale is expected to be back in action not too long after the international break.

The players will leave for international duty after Tottenham’s clash against Manchester United on Sunday.

Fortunately, it looks like Son’s injury is not as worse as feared which means that we are not going to have to wait for long before seeing Kane, Son and Bale play together. I do not expect all three to start against West Ham, with Bale in particular still lacking match fitness but it looks like the Welshman will almost certainly be back before the clash against Burnley.
