Sky journalist Micheal Bridge has said that Tottenham Hotspur are expected to look at another signing this summer, with Ange Postecoglou wanting an addition to his midfield.

Tottenham have made some good signings
Spurs have made some smart signings so far this summer, spending big on both Archie Gray and Dominic Solanke, while Lucas Bergvall has also linked up with the squad after signing back in January.
However, Tottenham fans will want to see more faces arrive through the door before the end of the month and Ange Postecoglou confirmed on Saturday that the club will look to do more business before the deadline (Football.London).
This turned out to be true as Spurs moved completely under the radar to announce the signing of Wilson Odobert from Burnley yesterday – but Spurs may not be done in the transfer market yet.

More signings for Tottenham?
There have been some suggestions that Spurs want to bring in a left-back to serve as Destiny Udogie’s understudy (Football.London) while other sources have claimed that the North London side want to sign a right-back to replace the recently departed Emerson Royal (Bruno Andrade).
However, Bridge has now asserted that Tottenham are now prioritising signing an energetic midfielder after finally securing a new winger in Wilson Odobert.
The journalist told Sky Sports (15/08/24): “Tottenham’s new signing Dominic Solanke is ready to start against Leicester next Monday but they are still keen to sign an energetic midfielder.”
Spurs Web Opinion
Tottenham have sufficient cover across the backline, although Postecoglou might feel that he needs another attack-minded left-back to cover for Udogie.
I can see Spurs offloading Oliver Skipp and Manor Solomon before the deadline to make way for another player.
