Ben Jacobs has reported that Jonathan David is one name Spurs would consider if Harry Kane leaves the club this summer.
It feels as though it is going to be another long and difficult summer for Tottenham fans when it comes to the annual Harry Kane saga, with Bayern Munich being the latest character to enter the story.
The Athletic’s David Ornstein reported yesterday that the German giants had submitted a €70m (£60.1m) bid plus add-ons for Harry Kane.
However, it appears Daniel Levy is planning to stand firm on his valuation, with Alasdair Gold stating the bid was expected to be rejected, while Ben Jacobs claimed it would take £100m for Spurs to sell.

The Telegraph claim an £80m bid would be hard to turn down for Spurs, while England players got the impression Kane wants to move on in search of trophies during the recent international camp.
Whatever the case, Kane has reportedly been informed by the Tottenham hierarchy that he is not for sale this summer, despite entering the final year of his contract (ESPN).
Jonathan David could be Harry Kane’s replacement
If Jacobs’ update is accurate, then Spurs could turn towards the Canadian striker, Jonathan David, if Bayern are successful in their Kane pursuit.
Spurs Web Opinion:
This saga is going to rumble on and on and on, as it does every year. Bayern Munich, Man United, PSG, Real Madrid, it doesn’t really matter. Spurs are either going to sell for a big fee or keep Kane one more season and try to convince him to stay.
