Italian journalist Antonello Gallo has said that Giovani Lo Celso is ready to make a move to Napoli in the January transfer window.
Over the last couple of weeks, plenty of outlets have suggested that Xavi Hernandez is desperate to take Lo Celso to the Camp Nou, with Sky Sports even asserting that the Barca boss views the transfer as a test of the Catalan club’s support of him.
Some sources have continued to maintain that Tottenham would not want to part ways with the Argentine, with Ange Postecoglou allegedly viewing him as an important squad player (Dean Jones – GiveMeSport).
A couple of days ago, 90 min explained that Spurs are yet to make a final decision on the 27-year-old’s future and are hesitant to offer him a new contract.

Gallo has now suggested that Napoli could swoop for the Argentine international in next month’s transfer window.
He explained that amidst the lack of progress in talks between Barca and Spurs, the midfielder could end up moving to Naples, having already given ‘his precise approval’ to the Serie A side.
The journalist told Area Napoli: “Between Barcelona and Tottenham, Giovani Lo Celso could come on loan to Napoli, according to rumours…According to someone, the player has given his precise approval in the positive sense.”
Spurs Web Opinion
This seems like baseless speculation as there is nothing concrete to indicate that Tottenham and Napoli have restarted talks over Lo Celso since the Italian club’s failed move for the midfielder last summer.
