Juan Foyth’s agent makes surprising claim about possible loan move

It will likely come as a surprise to many that Juan Foyth’s agent has been talking of the possibility of the January loan move for the Argentine.

This comes not just because the youngster is highly-rated at Spurs, but also because Jose Mourinho seemed to shut down all talk of such a move earlier this season.

Football London quote that Mourinho said there was ‘no chance’ that Foyth would be sent out on loan in January during a press conference.

Since recovering from an injury at the start of the season, Foyth has played in seven games for the Lilywhites this campaign, with three coming in the Champions League (TransferMarkt).

However, Foyth has played just twice under Mourinho in the Premier League, with one of those being a one-minute cameo.

Claudio Curti, Foyth’s agent, has now surprisingly claimed that they are evaluating the possibility of a January loan and await clarity from Tottenham this week.

He said (Inter Dipendenza): “We are evaluating the possibility of going out in the January market. We wait for this week to find clarity with Tottenham.”
