Jurgen Klopp hails one aspect of new Spurs stadium as ‘the best I’ve ever seen’

Tottenham Hotspur moved into their brand new stadium last season after two years of building and over an entire season of playing home matches at Wembley Stadium.

It is fair to say that the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has yet to reach the fortress status of the old White Hart Lane, but there are already memories in the new ground.

Spurs were unbeaten in their final season in White Hart Lane, but the new stadium has hosted a Champions League Final viewing party, a momentous occasion for the club.

Daniel Levy masterminded the project to include state-of-the-art facilities in all areas, from the goal-line bar, to the two different pitches, the white wall South stand, and the incredible changing rooms.

After Liverpool defeated Spurs 1-0 at the stadium yesterday, Jurgen Klopp took the time to praise the away dressing room at the ground, stating that it was the best he had ever seen.

He said (Football London): “Thank you to whoever built this stadium because the away dressing room is the best I’ve ever seen. Normally when people build new stadiums the away dressing room is small. This is excellent.”
