Some Bournemouth fans were left mightily impressed with Cameron Carter-Vickers after the on-loan Tottenham man put in a solid display to help the Cherries to a 2-0 win over Blackburn on Monday.
Carter-Vickers has not made a first-team appearance for Spurs since 2017 and has had loan spells at Sheffield United, Ipswich Town, Swansea City, Stoke City and Luton Town.
The USA international joined Bournemouth on loan last summer but did not have the best of starts to his spell at the Vitality Stadium as injuries prevented him from hitting the ground running at the start of the campaign.
However, the centre-back has established himself as first-choice under Jonathan Woodgate over the past few months and now looks to be thriving.
Reports indicate that Tottenham will sell the 23-year-old this summer irrespective of how well he does on loan this season.
It seems as though Bournemouth fans would be more than happy to take Carter-Vickers off Spurs’ hands in the summer if he becomes available.
Here’s how some Cherries supporters reacted to the centre-half’s display on Monday:
CCV is the best centre half we’ve had bar Ake. Has to be number 1 priority this summer #afcb

Stop the count. @cameroncv2 for me, he made a massive block of what was almost certainly a goal, he’s consistently putting a shift in. Love Arnie, but as he’s blocked me for no reason CCV is a no brainer. Please sign this dude 🙏 pic.twitter.com/FoiLmec9Pu

Have to give Pearson credit today. CCV is well deserving as well. He is a rock. Points to Cookie for the save off the line as well.

Spurs Web Opinion
Carter-Vickers was excellent for Luton Town in the second half of last season and he has continued his fine form into this campaign. There will likely be a whole host of Championship clubs vying for the 23-year-old’s signature this summer and I expect Spurs to cash in on him.
