Some Spurs fans on social media have been unable to hide their excitement after the club released a video of Gareth Bale looking sharp in training.
Football.London’s Alasdair Gold previously reported that the Tottenham staff, as well as players, have been blown away by the desire and quality that the Welshman has shown in training so far.
Fans were given some evidence of that as clips of the 31-year-old emerged in a small-sided game showed him taking on and beating players, as well as producing some typically deadly finishes with his left foot.
Reports indicate that Bale is expected to be fit to make his second Spurs debut against West Ham this Sunday.
Some Spurs fans insisted that they cannot wait to see Bale put the Hammers to the sword, while a few went even further and insisted that the returning superstar is going to carry the Lilywhites to the league title.
Here’s how some fans reacted after seeing clips of Bale training at Hotspur Way:
How I've missed that sweet left foot.

Spurs Web Opinion
I cannot remember being this excited for a Premier League match since we were pushing for the title in 2017. The first time the Bale chests down a cross-field ball and runs at the defender is going to be a sight to behold. However, the Spurs fan in me cannot help but think that we might be getting a little too carried away and could be brought crashing down to earth on Sunday. Hopefully, that is not the case and we destroy the Hammers.
