Son Heung-min has claimed he has never seen a striker do what Harry Kane does and admitted he is in awe of the qualities the 28-year-old possesses.
After a slow start to the season, Kane’s form has steadily improved after the arrival of Antonio Conte, and the striker has now brought his tally up to 18 goals in all competitions this campaign (Transfermarkt).
There has been plenty of speculation regarding the 28-year-old’s future, with some reports indicating that he wants assurances Conte will be backed in the summer in order to commit his future to Tottenham (The Sun).
There have even been suggestions that Spurs being knocked out of the FA Cup would make it harder for them to hold on to Kane as the striker was hoping that winning the competition would be the start of the club’s success under Conte (Evening Standard).
Whatever happens in the summer, Kane and Son will go down in the history books as the most deadly striker force in Premier League history, with the pair combining for a record 37th time in Spurs’ 4-0 win at Elland Road last month.
When asked about the England captain, the South Korean told Sky Sports’ Soccer AM: “I can’t describe any words anymore. I have never seen a striker like this scoring goals. Passing, playing, team player and defending. It’s just incredible.”
Spurs Web Opinion
We as Spurs fans need to enjoy and appreciate Kane for as long as we can, as he could well leave the club sooner rather than later. He is too good a player not to be competing for major honours and I do not think anyone would hold it against him if he pushed for a move again this summer.
