‘Just sell Son’ – Some Spurs fans react to first-half performance in the FA Cup

Tottenham Hotspur are at the half-way point in their FA Cup fourth-round match against Southampton at St Mary’s, with the score remaining 0-0.

Spurs dominated the chances in the first 45 minutes against the Saints, as Son missed the chance to make it 1-0 by inches in the first 10.

The South Korean then deflected a Lo Celso shot into the net, which was ruled out as Sonny was stood in an offside position.

Lucas Moura had the third golden chance for the Lilywhites as he raced through on goal, only for Angus Gunn to make a superb save to deny him.

Southampton had one clear cut chance towards the end of the half when Hugo Lloris found himself in no man’s land, only for Tanganga to clear the ball off the line superbly.

Perhaps the best all-round performance from Spurs in a while and they will regret not going in at half-time one or two ahead.
