Juventus are eyeing raiding Tottenham Hotspur for one of their rising stars amidst the North London club’s current struggles.

According to reports, there is panic at Spurs about the possibility of losing one or both of Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven this summer.

Those are not the only two players top clubs are circling over, with Lucas Bergvall thought to be of interest to some Premier League sides, while some sources have suggested that Real Madrid are eyeing up Archie Gray.

Now, it has been revealed that a Tottenham full-back has also emerged as a target for one of the biggest clubs in Serie A.

Juventus plotting a discount deal for Tottenham defender Destiny Udogie

According to Calciomercato.it, Destiny Udogie’s profile is ‘attractive’ to Juventus, who are looking to ‘take advantage of Tottenham’s situation’ to poach the full-back in the summer.

The report states that with Spurs under serious risk of relegation, the Bianconeri believe that they can swoop for the Italy international when the transfer window reopens.

It is revealed that Tottenham value Udogie between €35m and €40m (£30.2m-£34.6m), but the Old Lady are hoping that they can get the former Udinese man for less than €30m (£26m) if Spurs go down this season.

Juve willing to cash in on Spurs target

Calciomercato.it say that Juve are willing to cash in on their left-back Andrea Cambiaso to make room for Udogie in their squad.

This is significant for Spurs, who have previously been credited with an interest in the experienced Cambiaso, whose future at Turin is now thought to be up in the air.

It will be interesting to see if a potential swap or part-exchange deal could be on the cards in the summer if Juve do step forward with an interest in Udogie.
