A Tottenham Hotspur defender, who is preparing for the World Cup, has emerged as a target for one of the biggest clubs in Italy.
Spurs have already reinforced their defence significantly this summer even though the transfer window is yet to officially open.
The arrival of Andy Robertson and Marcos Senesi as free agents has added plenty of Premier League experience and leadership to the dressing room.
That has perhaps been done to make up for the expected loss of leadership at the club, with Cristian Romero backed to depart Spurs this summer.
However, a Serie A club are now plotting a move to prise away another member of Tottenham’s defensive line.

Juventus eyeing move for Tottenham’s Djed Spence
According to a report in Gazzetta dello Sport (as relayed by Sport Witness), Andrea Cambiaso could be on his way out of Juventus, and the club’s search for a replacement for them has seen them turn to a Tottenham man.
The Bianconeri are allegedly eyeing a move for Djed Spence, with his ability to play on either flank making him an attractive target for the Serie A side.
Their sporting director Marco Ottolini knows the full-back from his time in Genoa and is a big fan of the defender, who is part of the England squad for the World Cup.
The report adds that Ottolini is driving the deal to take Spence to the Allianz Stadium, with ‘quiet moves’ having already been made by the Italian giants.
Spence is not the only full-back on Juventus’ radar
Interestingly, this update from Gazzetta reveals that Juve initially prioritised a deal for Andy Robertson, but then decided to turn to Spence after Scotland captain decided to join Spurs.
However, interestingly, Spence is not the only Tottenham full-back that Luciano Spalletti’s side are thought to have their eye on.
Reports from Italy over recent weeks have claimed that Juventus have also explored a deal to take Destiny Udogie back to Serie A.
